Guest dog14787
I don't get it... Am I missing something? 641140 I try to reply to everyone, A few might even say something football related. Most seem to be smart arses who just want to pick on people. The Mcgahee story should be an inspiration to everyone in the world. I guess it goes unnoticed on this forum. I'm new here, thanks for the warm welcome everyone. I have found that most of the criticism of him has been non-football related. He was the fastest Bills RB to reach 2,000 yards. Faster than OJ. Faster than Thurman. Faster than Cookie. Faster than everyone else. He did that with a piss poor offensive line and a head coach who took him out of most games on third downs. He came back from what could have been a career ending injury. He bought a house in Buffalo (a lot of posters claimed he wanted nothing to do with Buffalo). He did not hold out this year (a lot of posters claimed that he would do that or demand to be traded) I think that he will be a special back. Again, don't let the whingers get you down. Welcome aboard. I think that you will enjoy this community as long as you don't let the "Jerry Sullivans" of the board wear you down.
Mark VI
It doesn't matter to me if he wins the rushing title, brakes NFL records, carries us to the Superbowl (well ok, it would matter some) he won my heart before he ever stepped back onto the field. The fact that he even has the balls to play is a testament to his courage, Heart and determination. God bless Willis McGahee and all that he stands for. 640940 " We'd like to take time and welcome Drew Rosenhaus to the forum ! It brought tears to my eyes when we drafted McGahee. I was watching the championship game live when he ripped his knee apart (as most of us were) and I remember thinking how a very very talented athlete had just ended his career before it even got started. Little did I know then what we know now. How can you not love the guy. The crazy thing is, you are right, what can he do with a good offensive line and a ball control game plan. I know Levys not the head coach but you have to think hes going to have a little input from time to time. Levy always knew his bread and butter was Thurman Thomas, and he knew enough to get him the ball as much as possible. Willis shows alot of the same attributes. We havent even scratched the surface as far as his catching ability is concerned. As an all purpose back he could be very productive. I,m excited about the future!! I still hpoe J.P. steps up to the plate and delivers. I believe with a simpler game plan he will come around. Hes not Eienstien for heavens sake. LOL, but Levy is. Thanks again for the warm welcome GO BUFFALO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
