Real men don't cry over songs.  They cry over pro wrestlers retiring.

Or when they come out and have to give up the championship due to an injury that will require surgery and a couple months rehab.

I was watching Smackdown a few months ago, and they had Batista who was champion at the time come out and say he had to give up his title cause he required surgery to repair the injury. They panned the audience and there was a woman seriously bawling like crazy asking "why?" and "Don't do it" It was probably the saddest thing I have ever seen on TV, I was laughing so hard I think I joined her crying.

Although I must say, I almost got a little teary watching the Lafontaine Jersey retirement, and when Jeanerette did the "La La" one last time.

I think the name of the song is "Sleepwalk", it was featured at the end of the film La Bamba, during the funeral procession scene, intercut with his family and friends getting news of the tragedy. Dont know why, just hit me at a time when I had broken up with a girl and was emotionally vunerable.

Sleepwalk is a beautiful song. Larry Carlton does a fine version of it, too.

Only one, and it's because of what the song says, when it came out and what it meant to the father of these 2 girls.  The song was released in the middle of all these happenings and to this day, and just can't help but think the father will not experience what the song says.

The song is "Butterfly Kisses" and this is what was occurring locally when that was released:

That damn song had me by the balls when I first heard it. I had just broken up with my girlfriend and was driving to Chicago from Rochester to see my family for a few days. I had one of those stupid Delilah type programs on, and there it was.....

Another one that hit me pretty hard was the first time I heard Amazing Grace by the Royal Scott Dragoon Guard (Scottish bagpipes). It may be THE most beautiful piece of music I've ever heard.

Yes, this song reminds me of my Uncle.  He belonged to a barbershop quartet for many years.  The 3 remaining guys came and sang that song at his funeral.

I sang in a barbershop quartet for about a year before I moved to California. It's an amazing experience when all four of you are in sync, and I hope you had a chance to see/hear your Uncle perform.

Ah yes any version of Amazing Grace gets to me. I can imagine that the bagpipe version is probably even more moving. This song just reminds me too much of funerals I've been to. It also reminds me of my deceased Grandmother. It was her favorite song. Another song that reminds me of my uncle that I mentioned above is On Eagles Wings. Probably cause they sang it at his funeral as well.
