Hollywood Donahoe Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 My Pats board is going to be hilarious for the next week or so. I guess I'll hope that last year's down year was a sign of his slipping.
The Rev.Mattb74 ESQ. Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 Terms unknown 638062 I think that is a good get for the Colts, they are the type of team that I think should bring in a higher priced Free Agent because they just need that one piece to push them over the top.
Ghost of BiB Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 Adam in a dome? He's going to be like a kid in a candy store.
BillsFan Trapped in Pats Land Posted March 21, 2006 Author Posted March 21, 2006 Adam in a dome? He's going to be like a kid in a candy store. 638066 I am not sure he's ever missed a kick in a dome. Up until a couple of years ago, I know that's true.

Mile High Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 When are the Vanderjact to the Bills threads going to start? Oh wait that was last offseason we needed a kicker....
cåblelady Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 When are the Vanderjact to the Bills threads going to start? 638098 Isn't V still with the Colts?
Ghost of BiB Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 Isn't V still with the Colts? 638107 Should this be true, not much longer. Wanna help hijack threads?

Mile High Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 Great signing. I wonder who they're GM is? 638125 Where's that horse?
LynchMob23 Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 Isn't V still with the Colts? 638107 His contract's up this year, and the Colts have essentially placed a 'for sale' sign on his house for him...

Truth: Pats will find another very good kicker.
MadBuffaloDisease Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 If it is anything like the moron-a-thon this place is it will be! Truth: Pats will find another very good kicker. Doubtful. It's not like they grow on trees. And Vinatieri took about 3 years before he became a great kicker. He was downright scary his first handful of seasons in the NFL. Oh and he's been slipping. Whether he stayed with the Pats or not, that key to their SB-winning ways was done with. Probably better for the Pats they didn't spend a ton on him, but it's the end of an era no matter how you look at it.

We might not like the Pats, but the boy was damn good. One of the few players on the team that didn't have to depend on Walt Coleman to make his game.

One of the few players on the team that didn't have to depend on Walt Coleman to make his game. Vinatieri was clutch. If not for him, they wouldn't have a single SB win, much less 3 of them. I'm just glad it's over one way or another.
