This is exactly how I wheel and deal when I play Monopoly (rarely) . I think you can trade/give away draft picks like this if you want. Certainly if you can give the Bears a draft pick for future consideration, you can give one away for past or present consideration. Now that I understand you, I'd say no, he's not worth it. Somewhere around $1.5-2 Mil per year is plenty to give up for him. Frankly I'd be tempted to throw in a 7th round pick because we're desperate, but that's the same reason we need our draft picks.
