As we all know, Reed was an excellent receiver in college and I would love to see him rekindle that chemistry with Nall if he was the starter at LSU.

He talks a bit about Reed...and their past history. He was at LSU when Josh switched from RB to Wide Receiver and has some really good comments. Also talks a bit about Royal. WGR URL --Note: its the Morrison interview -- the second one on the list--not the first one--which is also pretty good...with Howie Simon.
Kelly the Dog Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 From what I read, Nall barely made the field at LSU and certainly never started. He then transferred to Northwestern State-LA to play as a senior. He was there at LSU when Josh was there, however, and probably threw to him in practice.
Beerball Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 Nall didn't get the PT at LSU which is the reason for his transfer (from what I've read) so any kind of chemistry would have had to come from the practice field.
Lofton80 Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 Started a few before transferring. Chose LSU over Florida and ND so he must of had some talent. Started two games, including the 1999 season opener, in three seasons at LSU … Career stats were 431 yards passing on 35 of 79 accuracy with four interceptions in 14 games … Played eight games as the No. 2 quarterback behind Herb Tyler in 1998, including starting the season finale vs. Arkansas (15 of 30 for 1 TD and 147 yards) after a strong performance in relief in a narrow loss at Notre Dame (4 of 9 for 70 yards) … The steadiest performer in a three-way preseason competition also involving Josh Booty and Rohan Davey, Nall started the '99 opener against San Jose State (6-15-2, 79 yards), played quarterback in another game … Volunteered to move to receiver when injuries depleted that position, and he played in four games there during his sophomore season … Played in one game in 2000 and missed last six games with a broken thumb … Redshirted in 1997.
