Well gee I guess we didnt see that one coming huh (sarcasm). Ok lets focus our attention on Neal, we need a guard with experience and he is the way to go right now. For god sake lets put together something of a offensive line. Spend some dough and bring this guy back to OBD. We cannot count on drafting a rookie and have him starting, there is no one out there that is that complete not having the last name Ferguson.

Nothing ventured, nothing gained.  Still a good effort on Marv's part.

Where is this good? From all indications the chances were 99.999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999% that the Cards would match. Waste of friggin time and paper.

I have to agree here. Everyone keeps saying "Good effort by Marv," but that only begs a few other questions, such as:

- If you are a Pats fan, then swear to be a Bills fan, then change your mind when the Bills start losing and return to being a Pats fan, is that a "good effort" to be a Bills fan?

- If you put pickle juice in your retatta, is that a "good effort" at enhancing the flavor of a pile of schitt?

- If you try to climb Mt. Everest wearing Depends and carrying a hammer, is that a "good effort" to climb that hill?

- If you tell Mandy Moore that you'll give her $100 for a kiss, is that a "good effort" to get laid?

And this nonsense I've been reading how "this is all a good move to get other teams to blow their cap money...????" :P:P:P0:)

We've manage to accomplish one thing: help players from other teams get more money from their team.

But at least it was a good effort.

That sucks I thought Marv gave him a pretty nice deal, but the problem is the Cards have a TON of cap room and can overpay where they want.

Which our business office should have realized.

"Man, that chick, she's really hot. I'd like to ask her out but there's a 99.999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999% chance that she'll say no, so I won't."

My gosh, you guys make it sound like the entire Bills organization stopped everything they were doing holding their breath for this to happen. The Cards did leave him hanging out there by not giving him the higher tender, why not take the chance?
