John Adams Posted September 27, 2004 Posted September 27, 2004 Show by a series of equations the energetics of phosphorylation of ADP by phosphoenolpyruvate. Limit your responses to doing my work for me and not digressing.
G-Daddy Posted September 27, 2004 Posted September 27, 2004 I have no clue what that means, but a google search turned up the following link. http://www.rpi.edu/dept/bcbp/molbiochem/MB...rt2/bioener.htm
BillsFanNC Posted September 27, 2004 Posted September 27, 2004 Ahh memories of biochem. All I can tell you is that there is a protein kinase involved here and that you'll end up with ATP.

Thanks for an actual serious reply though. When I need help with my biotech classes, I'll post questions on here.

The reaction thermodynamics of the referred reaction AFAIK, have been established initially in a simple Parr bomb calorimeter experiment, quite some time ago...but you are delving into mitochondrial reactions...Yes?

Of course, his brain might be a little softer given the blood loss...
stuckincincy Posted September 27, 2004 Posted September 27, 2004 Marriage trumps commmentary - hopefully...
njsue Posted September 27, 2004 Posted September 27, 2004 Perhaps this is not a good place to ask for help with a subject or topic you just dont quite understand. Cause some of the people here would rather criticize you for not understanding it. Rather than stepping up like a decent human being to help. If I understood the subject you are having difficulty with. I would gladly help you. Good Luck
