John from Riverside Posted March 20, 2006 Posted March 20, 2006 yeah let's get a character guy like andre davis - why are we so certain he's mother teresa again? - who at best is #3 receiver, when we could have the most dominant player at his position in the game in TO for the same price? 635977 A franchise as shaky as this one cannot afford to take a "TO" type chance.... I mean that....seriously
Dan Gross Posted March 20, 2006 Posted March 20, 2006 fraction of the cost it would take to keep moulds. who wouldnt even be bills #1 WR 636390 Let's forget the fact that you are jumping around receivers for a minute (implying in the note I responded to that we could have had TO at the same price as Andre Davis)...On the Moulds issue, cutting him saves us $5M on the salary cap. According to the numbers provided by millbank, Terrell is getting $5M just in base salary, which is by no mean a fraction of the cost of keeping Moulds, unless you are talking about 1/1. Then add in the amortization of the signing bonus ($1.67M)...and your fraction is looking closer to 7/5...and that's forgetting next year's costs...

Lurker Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 Cowboys | Owens to write a book Mon, 20 Mar 2006 15:37:16 -0800 The Associated Press reports Dallas Cowboys WR Terrell Owens is writing a book about his time with the Philadelphia Eagles. He is writing a book called "Ineligible Receiver: The Real Story of My Journey from the Super Bowl to the Sidelines." The book is due in July. "Finally, the real T.O. story can be told," Simon & Schuster executive David Rosenthal said. "It's an important chapter in the long-term struggle for players' rights in the NFL."
meazza Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 owens signing with dallas is bad for the nfl. a guy who complained, bitched all day, destroyed two locker rooms and still gets exactly what he wanted, more money and a chance to play, shows everyone around the league that if you are a good player, you can act like a jackass and get what you want.
