Arkady Renko Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 ??????????????? 632789 I have often heard the wine referred to as cat piss--not in a bad way--due to its high acidity.
Arkady Renko Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 Managing Partner with a financial planning firm. 632793 Do you mind me asking about your path to that?
Chef Jim Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 I have often heard the wine referred to as cat piss--not in a bad way--due to its high acidity. 632794 My wife's response nine times out of ten after tasting a sauvignon blanc? "Ewww, cat pee!!"
Chef Jim Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 Do you mind me asking about your path to that? 632797 Twenty-five years in the kitchen wore me out. Liked planning my own retirement so thought I'd help others manage theirs. Pays MUCH better and I can now cook for fun on the weekends.

Chef Jim Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 From the Mainland, I see. 632806 Why, because he's civil?
BilltheCat Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 Gotta be the best job of all, IMO. 632648 I agree. I too have been on parental leave for about 6 months over the last two years (little guy is 2, little girl is 10 months). It's great. Have to return to work soon though (Accountant/Gov't auditor now but used to be an engineer).
X. Benedict Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 Why, because he's civil? 632808 Lot of military guys around here. Most would say he builds targets.
HopsGuy Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 Former Electrical Engineer. Currently Equity Trade Desk Principal. My job is to say "No, you don't have enough money." Then they swear at me.
X. Benedict Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 Hey, are you an academic philosopher, or just a lover of wisdom in the genuine sense of the word? 632671 More academic, less genuine.
