TheMadCap Posted August 21, 2004 Posted August 21, 2004 I think it sux that everytime a US player touches the ball, the other team's fans blow horns and whistles to distract them.... :I starred in Brokeback Mountain: :I starred in Brokeback Mountain: :I starred in Brokeback Mountain:
MadBuffaloDisease Posted August 21, 2004 Posted August 21, 2004 Who is the best team from among the competitors?
Mile High Posted August 21, 2004 Posted August 21, 2004 i would say lithuania. they were the european champs last year and they've been playing together for years.
turd ferguson Posted August 21, 2004 Posted August 21, 2004 that's international for ya, they seem to like the noisemakers where as here in the u.s. we don't. GO TEAM USA!!!!!! I think it sux that everytime a US player touches the ball, the other team's fans blow horns and whistles to distract them.... :I starred in Brokeback Mountain: :I starred in Brokeback Mountain: :I starred in Brokeback Mountain: 2398

Mile High Posted August 21, 2004 Posted August 21, 2004 where the hell is carmello? has he even played.? and why is boozer on the team?
Mile High Posted August 21, 2004 Posted August 21, 2004 team usa = no outside shot anyone else notice that everything and i mean everyting is called in international play. the smallest little bump... foul!
Mile High Posted August 21, 2004 Posted August 21, 2004 this is ridiculous... willl someone on our team step up and play d outside the 3 point line.
/dev/null Posted August 21, 2004 Posted August 21, 2004 94-90 dream team, i salute you :I starred in Brokeback Mountain:
Mile High Posted August 21, 2004 Posted August 21, 2004 more like dream team b or c.. with iverson and duncan. shaq, kobe, bibby and others would have made a world of difference!
AJ1 Posted August 21, 2004 Posted August 21, 2004 this is ridiculous... willl someone on our team step up and play d outside the 3 point line. 2419 I'd like to know the names of the jackasses who picked the U.S. team without one or two 3 pt specialists on the roster.
Mile High Posted August 21, 2004 Posted August 21, 2004 I'd like to know the names of the jackasses who picked the U.S. team without one or two 3 pt specialists on the roster. 2441 exactly.. our trial team consisted of 3 point shooters and a true center. not a bunch of power forwards.
Simon Posted August 21, 2004 Posted August 21, 2004 more like dream team b or c.. with iverson and duncan. shaq, kobe, bibby and others would have made a world of difference! It probably also would have made a difference if Larry Clown would have had LJames and DWade on the floor in crunchtime instead of Odom and that idiot Marbury.
millbank Posted August 21, 2004 Author Posted August 21, 2004 They now must beat Angola to advance to medal round
Mile High Posted August 21, 2004 Posted August 21, 2004 They now must beat Angola to advance to medal round 2501 isn't angola south of buffalo?
ryborg Posted August 21, 2004 Posted August 21, 2004 I'd like to know the names of the jackasses who picked the U.S. team without one or two 3 pt specialists on the roster. Remember, almost every other decent American shooter/big man turned down the Olympics. And most of the top outside shooters in the NBA are not from the US. Boozer and Marion DO NOT belong on this team. How about bringing Chris Mullin out of retirement?
ryborg Posted August 21, 2004 Posted August 21, 2004 isn't angola south of buffalo? 2512 At this point, Team USA would lose to Angola Elementary.
Simon Posted August 21, 2004 Posted August 21, 2004 Remember, almost every other decent American shooter.....turned down the Olympics. And most of the top outside shooters in the NBA are not from the US. Brent Barry Baron Davis Mayor Hoiberg Mike Finley Sam Cassell Eddie Jones Aaron McKie Allen Houston That's just the beginning of a very long list of great American shooters who didn't get invites. I'd add Ray Allen and Mike Bibby but I'm not sure if they were asked or not. Hell, they could have brought Steve freaking Kerr along and he would have been the best shooter on that team by a long shot. Cya
turd ferguson Posted August 21, 2004 Posted August 21, 2004 I am almost certain ray allen turned down the offer to play, don't know abou the rest, although allen houston was also a turndowner also Brent BarryBaron Davis Mayor Hoiberg Mike Finley Sam Cassell Eddie Jones Aaron McKie Allen Houston That's just the beginning of a very long list of great American shooters who didn't get invites.
