BobbyC81 Posted March 13, 2006 Posted March 13, 2006 Bills Daily shows the Bills at $15.9 Million under as of 3/11 but the signings of Triplett and Royal were announced on 3/11. So, is this number before these signings or after?? It obviously doesn't include signing of Davis and re-signing of Jerman.
BillsDaily Posted March 14, 2006 Posted March 14, 2006 The numbers are before the signings. I need the players base salaries for 2006 to compute the cap numbers.
JimBob2232 Posted March 14, 2006 Posted March 14, 2006 Davis counts 1.3 mil. Royal about 1.0 mil Tripplett is somewhere around 2-2.5 mil Jerman about 600k So...101010111010....about 5 mil. Still about 11 mil under the cap. This is obviously very rough, and assumes contracts are standard (i.e. minimums 1st year, rising each year) Also does not include LTBE incentives...if there are any
clumping platelets Posted March 14, 2006 Posted March 14, 2006 No....I'm just amazed at the hour to hour need to know "How much under the cap?" RELAX! Bills have cap space to pursue FAs, Bills can create cap space if they need it, and the Bills do not need to worry about rookie pool until well after the draft!!!

So...how MUCH space do they have left?
JimBob2232 Posted March 14, 2006 Posted March 14, 2006 Yeah, really. Just learn the basics of how the cap works people. Its clearly a rough estimate I gave, but its probably as good as anyone can guestimate right now.
