Tom Posted September 26, 2004 Author Posted September 26, 2004 Says a lot about the heart of OUR team doesn't it? I'm really not sure what it says...... but it is a game of 'inches'??????
zow2 Posted September 26, 2004 Posted September 26, 2004 Great last drive again by the Jags. They took over on their own 30 w/ 5 minutes to go down 12-7. They drove 13 plays and scored w/ 9 seconds left. The Jags have the magic!
sweet baboo Posted September 26, 2004 Posted September 26, 2004 the wheels are going to fall off of that train soon for the jags

Rubes Posted September 26, 2004 Posted September 26, 2004 Regardless, it does show that Buffalo's offensive struggles are not unique. I think most people here think Denver and Tennessee have better offenses than Buffalo, yet Denver couldn't score a TD against JAX and Tennessee, supposed to threaten for their division crown, couldn't beat them at home either. We're really down on the Bills offense so far (and rightfully so), but let's keep things in perspective here: JAX has a very good defense. (I won't say the same about Oakland, though)
Tom Posted September 26, 2004 Author Posted September 26, 2004 (I won't say the same about Oakland, though) Oaklands defense isn't too shabby.... they've given up 240.0 ypg (4th in the NFL) vs 299 ypg (12th) for the Jags. (After the 1st 2 games) - We sit @ #6 with 249 ypg.

We have played two good defensive teams so far and we're obviously struggling a bit. But I do expect us to show more as the season goes on. It may be for naught, but whatever.
BB2004 Posted September 26, 2004 Posted September 26, 2004 Like I said at the beginning when Jags beat the Bills, this IS A PLAYOFF TEAM. Jacksonville is a team on the rise with a good football coach.
