syhuang Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 for a 4-year deal, including a 3 million signing bonus.
Rico Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 Too bad it wasn't the Felons... this still doesn't make up for Fat Bennie.
UConn James Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 this still doesn't make up for Fat Bennie. 625938 ... and TD's Plug-'n'-Play LG, Lawrence 'Larry' Smith. Buh-bye(!), Justin.
Stl Bills Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 Too bad it wasn't the Felons... this still doesn't make up for Fat Bennie. 625938 When are we going to cut him? IMHO that's the best offseason move we can make.
BigdaddyinOrlando Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 So does that mean we get a 1st round pick for compensation? After all he was our best " white high motor" guy, and they don't grow on trees!!
ROCCEO Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 Yeah we shoulda franchised him, remember that he was SOOOOOOO good that at one point some of us were lobbying for him to try his hand at guard.
Sisyphean Bills Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 This is huge. One less medium-motor white dude. LA Bills for sure now.
ROCCEO Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 I would like to request a link to this signing that I can't find anywhere, please, anybody
Stl Bills Posted March 13, 2006 Posted March 13, 2006 I would like to request a link to this signing that I can't find anywhere, please, anybody 626007 Thats because nobody cares . It has flashed on ESPNnews though.
Rico Posted March 13, 2006 Posted March 13, 2006 Think everyone knows what site this came from. Ravens | Bannan agrees to termsSun, 12 Mar 2006 13:51:54 -0800 Jamison Hensley, of the Baltimore Sun, reports the Baltimore Ravens have agreed to the terms of a four-year contract with free agent DT Justin Bannan (Bills), according to his agent. According to a league source, the Ravens gave Bannan a $3 million signing bonus.
GG Posted March 13, 2006 Posted March 13, 2006 Just to put this in perspective. People here are complaining that Bills broke the bank by giving Royal $2.5 mil bonus and he was a starter, and Bannan gets $3 mil SB for backing up Tim Anderson and Robert Edwards.... Maybe I should develop a high motor, too.

RuntheDamnBall Posted March 13, 2006 Posted March 13, 2006 Was Bannan a UFA? I'm curious to know if he was in the Bills' plans and they just didn't act quickly enough, or if they were not all that interested in keeping him with a similar talent in Anderson on the roster.
Bill from NYC Posted March 13, 2006 Posted March 13, 2006 Just to put this in perspective. People here are complaining that Bills broke the bank by giving Royal $2.5 mil bonus and he was a starter, and Bannan gets $3 mil SB for backing up Tim Anderson and Robert Edwards.... Maybe I should develop a high motor, too. 626244 Good point. I am rather surprised that any pro football team would give Bannan a job, let alone 3 million. He was horrible, but ya know, I am happy for him. The coaches always seemed to like him because he went all out with what limited talent he had. This move was good for the Bills and Bannan.
BoondckCL Posted March 13, 2006 Posted March 13, 2006 His absence to the fans will be similar to that of how teams prepared their offense against him on the Bills defensive line... Coach: "Justin who?"
Ray Posted March 13, 2006 Posted March 13, 2006 Tripplett is an absolute steal if Bannon gets a 4yr deal with a 3M signing bonus! Are you kidding me? A part time player for the worst defense in the league last year? Wow--talk about overpaying.
cantankerous Posted March 13, 2006 Posted March 13, 2006 See ya Justin!! For all you needing links...ever heard of www.nfl.com ???? www.espn.com ??? I assumed everyone knew of these...
