Simon Posted March 12, 2006 Share Posted March 12, 2006 I realize nobody's going to give us a Day1 pick for him, but is it possible that he might be have some value to somebody in part of a draft day package to maneuver around the board? All his unamortized bonus comes due to us when he's dealt, but what type of salary would another team be looking at if they acquired him in a trade. Is that number close to his fairmarketvalue and if so, would it be beneficial for a team to deal for him to avoid having to compete with other teams to sign him as a FA? As such, he has zero trade value IMO unless he is allowed by the Bills to shop for a new team & that team agrees to a restructuring before the trade is made... can't see it happening.
