silvermike Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 "It's funny, in the course of three hours he became enamored with Marv Levy and the head coach," Dunn said. "These decisions are so often made with your gut, and this was an easy call for him." http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news;_ylt=AjPU...ov=ap&type=lgns
silvermike Posted March 12, 2006 Author Posted March 12, 2006 "Enamored" I guess you CAN complain if you're Marv's wife.
MadBuffaloDisease Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 Marv has that grandpa quality about him. Awww.
Phlegm Alley Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 Whatever he's doing I hope he keeps on doing it. 3 for 3.
Ramius Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 But...but...but...but... marv and jauron suck! No free agents are going to want to come here!
BADOLBILZ Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 But...but...but...but... marv and jauron suck! No free agents are going to want to come here! 625505 Hey, when you are a marginal starting one gap 4-3 DT and a team that actually plays your style of defense offers you $4M per year and a $5.5M bonus, you take it and like it. But I'm sure he thinks the Bills are up and coming.
Mikie2times Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 And the OL still hasn't been touched... 625516 Talent without character never wins.

Once he lost weight, he was a force according to Colts fans. http://forum.colts.com/showthread.php?t=7166 http://forum.colts.com/showthread.php?t=7170
CoachChuckDickerson Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 And the OL still hasn't been touched... 625516 I was thinking the same exact thing. It is still early though....
Buffalo_Stampede Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 And the OL still hasn't been touched... 625516 1 day in.
Mickey Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 Talent without character never wins. 625521 Tell that to the Miami Hurricanes of the late 80's and early '90's or just about every Raider team that won a superbowl. For the record, I don't think character without talent wins much either.
Lurker Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 For the record, I don't think character without talent wins much either. 625566 "Miracle on Ice" comes to mind.

But to respond to the Hurricane comment talent can hide character probelms much better in college then the pros.
