It seems like they are paying him a lot, to merely challange an untested player for the starting role...

 

I hope the Bills give Everett a real shot to be a part of the offense. He is still raw (missing his rookie season doesn't help) but he could be a huge playmaker, given a chance...

Everett, I fell, will be a player and we have just to get him on the field. Although, after seeing some tape of Davis, I would not at mind taking him as well. He is a player.

No. The signing of Royal was primarily for blocking. This move is primarily to add some additional force to the offensive line.
