BILLiever Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 I think the whole signing of Royal was so that he could be a solid back up/ competitor for the starting job with Everett.
billsfan182 Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 i think he was mainly signed for blocking, and we will probobly continue our "bread and butter" formation with two TE's Everett, and Royal with Ehus as a backup
Buftex Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 I think the whole signing of Royal was so that he could be a solid back up/ competitor for the starting job with Everett. 624989 It seems like they are paying him a lot, to merely challange an untested player for the starting role... I hope the Bills give Everett a real shot to be a part of the offense. He is still raw (missing his rookie season doesn't help) but he could be a huge playmaker, given a chance...
nemhoff Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 Everett, I fell, will be a player and we have just to get him on the field. Although, after seeing some tape of Davis, I would not at mind taking him as well. He is a player.
BADOLBILZ Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 I think the whole signing of Royal was so that he could be a solid back up/ competitor for the starting job with Everett. 624989 I loved Marv's take on Everett, something like "the previous staff was high on Everett". Real ringing endorsement.
MadBuffaloDisease Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 I loved Marv's take on Everett, something like "the previous staff was high on Everett". Real ringing endorsement. Not much to go off of here except the previous staff's feelings, considering he's been injured.
Buffalo Wing Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 I think the whole signing of Royal was so that he could be a solid back up/ competitor for the starting job with Everett. 624989 No. The signing of Royal was primarily for blocking. This move is primarily to add some additional force to the offensive line.
