Tipster19 Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 Mix in Chambers, McMichael and Ronnie Brown and this would be a pretty potent offense. We better end up with a strong defense and a ball control offense or it's going to be two tough match-ups with them this year.
MadBuffaloDisease Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 They have no LT. And they have no center currently.

Got to have the grunts to make the skill people look good, as we have seen.
Tipster19 Posted March 12, 2006 Author Posted March 12, 2006 Oh, but I think that the fish have yet to begun their FA targets.
MadBuffaloDisease Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 And I'd be surprised if NO didn't outbid Miami for Brees.
nero47 Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 And I'd be surprised if NO didn't outbid Miami for Brees. 624928 Sorry its 6.3M Here's the cap link http://proxy.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2349505
Tipster19 Posted March 12, 2006 Author Posted March 12, 2006 I sure hope so. Brees worries me as far as his intelligence and now a possible chip on his shoulder, no pun intended, by being snubbed by SD and labeled as damaged goods. If a bonehead like Aaron Brooks or someone like him lands up in Miami, then I wouldn't be too concerned.
MadBuffaloDisease Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 I'm thinking Brees won't be as good after his injury, leaving the Chargers' system, and having Mularkey as his OC.
Tipster19 Posted March 12, 2006 Author Posted March 12, 2006 Whew, I forgot about M&M! Now I feel better.

MadBuffaloDisease Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 Yep! Their center, Seth McKinney, is also a UFA.
nero47 Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 Yep! Their center, Seth McKinney, is also a UFA. 624940 Are they using Donohoe as their GM consultant
