meazza Posted March 11, 2006 Posted March 11, 2006 Yeah, 2.5 million bonus for a guy who's big and can't catch ---- heck, I would have taken half that bonus and I CAN catch!!! 624694 Thing is, we are yet to see how prices go up this season with the new CBA.
BillsGuyInMalta Posted March 11, 2006 Posted March 11, 2006 You're all a bunch of savages, you know that? I mean...the guy is a 76 in Madden! Shouldn't that be enough for all of you?
Peter Posted March 11, 2006 Posted March 11, 2006 Unfortunately, that means the Bills probably will not take Vernon Davis if he is there at 8. I do not understand this move. We could have used that money elsewhere. If it is true that this guy cannot catch, I am dumbfounded. Let's hope Marv knows something about this guy that the rest of us do not know.
firstngoal Posted March 11, 2006 Posted March 11, 2006 So much for taking TE Vernon Davis in the first round at pick#8

Stussy109 Posted March 11, 2006 Posted March 11, 2006 What this says to me is that 1 of the 2 TE's (Euhus&Everett) rehabbing their knee injuries is not going as well as planned.
Alaska Darin Posted March 11, 2006 Posted March 11, 2006 Welcome to Buffalo. As evidenced by this thread most of our "fans" already hate you.
Ghost of BiB Posted March 11, 2006 Posted March 11, 2006 What this says to me is that 1 of the 2 TE's (Euhus&Everett) rehabbing their knee injuries is not going as well as planned. 624711 What this says to me is we either watch, or not.

LevysEraII Posted March 11, 2006 Posted March 11, 2006 This signing was like a crushing blow to the head from Mike Tyson back in his prime.
Brandon Posted March 11, 2006 Posted March 11, 2006 His 2002 draft profile from NFL.com... http://www.nfl.com/draft/2002/profiles/royal_robert.htm
BEAST MODE BABY! Posted March 11, 2006 Posted March 11, 2006 This signing was like a crushing blow to the head from Mike Tyson back in his prime. 624720 Actually, to me, it felt more like a body blow. THe kind that can buckle your knees.
HeyNowBuffalo Posted March 11, 2006 Posted March 11, 2006 The $2.5M bonus spreads out over five years, and the salary could escalate through the life of the contract... Cap number this year or next probably isn't as dramatic as the total sounds...
GG Posted March 11, 2006 Posted March 11, 2006 Granted the guy is no Gates or Gonzales, but to get a starting TE for this change isn't half bad.

Ghost of BiB Posted March 11, 2006 Posted March 11, 2006 um why did we sign a guy not good enough to start for washington? 624734 We don't have enough private jets.
