BillsGuyInMalta
Former Washington tight end Robert Royal has reached an agreement with Buffalo on a five-year, $10 million deal that includes a $2.5 million signing bonus. What...the...hell... Marv...you better know something the rest of us dont (and it better not be about World War II history.)

What...the...hell... 624654 You mean Robert "Stonehands" Royal? What a ridiculous overpayment that is for a TE who drops the ball like he plays for the Seahawks or something. BillsGuyInMalta
Isn't that a little...well HIGH for RR? 624657 I think Marv might be the one who's high.

Nick in RaChaCha
Isn't that a little...well HIGH for RR? 624657 As i feared... The Bills will have to over pay FAs of any caliber to get them to sign. Not Good!
BillsGuyInMalta
Isn't this a huge problem though? I mean, we bring in a guy who an opposing Defense KNOWS cant catch for crap, and every time he's in the game he'll just be the 6th O-Lineman on the field...they'll know the run is coming. Marv, you better be on the phone with Jon Runyan and/or Kevin Mawae right now, I dont think you landed the next Pete Metzelaars.
MadBuffaloDisease
Looks like the Bills ARE gonna be a running team.
Ralonzo
He's good... especially at runblocking 624662 For 5 years at $10M, he'd better be as good as a guard at runblocking. And if he is, move him to guard where we really need him. There's a reason Gibbs doesn't want him, he's a TE who can't catch. Compare and contrast with what Chris Cooley did last year. Guess Marv is counting on Everett to provide that dimension?
vinuch
$10 million is alot for a TE with no hands. Damb Marv you probally could have gotten him cheaper I don't think anyone else was looking at him.
Stussy109
Royal can still catch... I like the mixup of TE's. Both Euhus and Everett are pass-catching tightends, Royal is more of a runblocker, but can still catch. http://www.nfl.com/players/playerpage/302118

RJsackedagain
Looks like the Bills ARE gonna be a running team. 624666 Yes, a running team with no offensive line, but a "good" blocking tight end
MadBuffaloDisease
I checked snap.stats.com and they didn't have a stat for passes dropped. I wish they did so I could verify how bad his hands are myself. Not that I don't trust you guys...I just don't trust ANYONE!
