maddog Posted September 26, 2004 Posted September 26, 2004 From Leo Roth's article this morning. "One sack killed momentum after a fake punt." Let's recap the drive after the fake punt. Travis Henry rushes for -5 yards Drew Bledsoe sacked for -1 yards Willis McGahee rushes for -10 yards Despite the two rushes for -15 yards, it was the one sack for -1 yards that killed the momentum of the drive. I guess it fit the story - doesn't matter whether it is true or not
MadBuffaloDisease Posted September 26, 2004 Posted September 26, 2004 I think I know what Leo meant. He was saying that that 1 yard sack killed the momentum of losing more than 4 yards on each play.
Justice Posted September 26, 2004 Posted September 26, 2004 QB's get all the glory when they win and all the blame when they lose. That's just the way it is.
