I have done some research on the net and contacted the Chamber of Commerce already but what I am looking for is: 1. What are the best school districts? (kids are 7 and 9) 2. Best neighborhoods to live in? (low crime) 3. Any other info that would be good to know about the area. From what I've seen the area is up and coming and the cost of living is very reasonable. Steve 619802[/snapback] Can't help on those areas but my wife and I lived in the Bham area for about four years and it was nice...People are VERY nice but you always get the feeling that you are an outsider, the first question almost everyone asked us is "what church do you go to?", that was uncomfortable at first but we got used to it.
