Kipers Hair Posted March 6, 2006 Posted March 6, 2006 The word is the the problem is that the ownership cannot agree on sharing. The players union has a ratifiable agreement, however, there are two factions of owners, one lead by the Snyder/Jones types and the other being the Bidwell and old school types. Jones and Snyder are tired of sharing their revenue with the ownership that does nothing to market and make their franchises more profitable, (can't say that I argue with this line). The other group feels that all income to the teams is based on being an NFL franchises, therefore needs to be shared with all.... Anyway - it appears there is a CBA and players agreement in place - the owners just need to get on the same page...
