Tipster19 Posted March 6, 2006 Posted March 6, 2006 All this extra time benefits the teams that are over the salary cap greatly. They should have never said that they had a deadline. What a joke. I wish that there was some way to really stick it to these owners and players. They just better get hteir act together and produce this great product that they always profess.
BillsGuyInMalta Posted March 6, 2006 Posted March 6, 2006 I know...we could support the XFL!! Wait...damn it.
Tipster19 Posted March 6, 2006 Author Posted March 6, 2006 Prime example, the Rams released WR Isaac Bruce but now with the extra time they may work out a contract with him. We shouldn't have cut anybody yet, just wait and see what the other teams were going to do. It's BS.

Tipster19 Posted March 6, 2006 Author Posted March 6, 2006 No but we didn't need to cut him right now. Why give another team an advantage by letting them know who you are going to release until you have too?
Tipster19 Posted March 6, 2006 Author Posted March 6, 2006 You can now add the Raiders to rethinking their decision on QB Collins.

Levy et al. didn't have to make those moves to get under the cap... which leads to the conclusion that those players are gone because One Bills Drive wanted them gone.
