Yeah like Tenny was going to give the pet rock 4 million today and keep him around if he didn't. Let's see, he did nothing last year except get suspended for drugs.

Titans | Team reaches new deal with Henry

Jim Wyatt, of the Tennessean, reports the Tennessee Titans agreed to terms on a restructured contract for RB Travis Henry Wednesday evening, March 1, according to the player's agent, Hadley Engelhard. The Titans avoided paying the $4 million option Henry was scheduled to collect as the veteran agreed to a multiyear, incentive-laden deal. "Travis is bending over backwards to make this work because he really believes in the Titans," Engelhard said. "Based on what happened last year he wants to show the Titans what he is all about."

Translation: Travis is going to bend over backwards, because he knows the titans will cut him if he doesnt restructure, and with the flooded market of RB's this offseason, he would make nothing more than the vet minimum as a backup RB somewhere.

Makes sense for Travis. Plus the Titans still have a solid backup at RB.
