1billsfan Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 4 starting caliber LBs. This is a LB rich draft also. Does anyone think that we'll be making the big switch? If this is the case we need to somehow get Supermario.

CoachChuckDickerson Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 Dick already said no on several occations. 4-3 is his style.
mexicanbills45 Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 Pick Ngata and find in the free agency a good LB the problem is that ours DE's not are good by this system .

If this is the case we need to somehow get Supermario. 615218 That was my first thought. However we don't have the defensive ends or the linebackers (quality or numbers) for it. Ironically the guy who came closest to filling the bill for a 3-4 if we were headed in that direction was Sam Adams. I think the theory is to create a big pot of money and go after some top free agents. Ngata as one DT..and probably three free agent signings and some interesting picking in the draft.
Beerball Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 ??? 615302 Pick Ngata in the draft. Get a decent LB via FA. But, that will leave us with DEs who don't fit the system. Not sure which system though, 4-3 or 3-4?
MadBuffaloDisease Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 I say go cover-2 with a 3-4. That REALLY would mess other teams up!
stuckincincy Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 I say go cover-2 with a 3-4. That REALLY would mess other teams up! 615322 I can see the headline now..."Patriots set Modern-day Record - 74 Runs and No Passes against Hapless Bills".
bills_fan Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 Ted Washington next to Ngata would solve all problems.

BEAST MODE BABY! Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 Ted Washington next to Ngata would solve all problems. 615332 To all the people who keep mentioning big, 2-gap DT's...it ain't going to happen. Go read up on what Marv has been quoted as to what the coaching staff is looking for.
