Notice the pencil neck got his little stab in yet again..... "New general manager Marv Levy said the defense struggled last season because of the team's inability to keep defensive tackle Pat Williams the year before. Now, the defense grows even weaker in the middle with the release of Adams."

:D

It might be a stab at the bills, but its true. Losing Sam is not going to make the bills stronger

It was the right thing to do though, he was eating up (no pun intended) a lot of cap space for being on the downside of his career.

Bills have to make a DT splash in free agency AS WELL as the Draft in the first two rounds.

Please forgive me if this makes no sense....could this move be a sign that the Bills are switching to a 3-4?

A big if considering that Ngata isn't a lock to be there at 8.

You're right as we look at the team in the present. But obviously the position will be addressed in one or more ways over the next month or two. Clayton just took his usual opportunity to bash the move before the plan is completed.

Clump's cap page says that the Bills would save just $2.1M with Adams' release. And Moulds' release is supposed to save $4.5M, but reports I've heard are $5.5M. And Williams was supposed to save $4.9M, but I read it only saved $3.5M. :D

Yes it will be addressed but it depends on how well it was addressed. The bills did address their D-line last year, but it was by bringing in Bennie Anderson.
