34-78-83 Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 Notice the pencil neck got his little stab in yet again..... "New general manager Marv Levy said the defense struggled last season because of the team's inability to keep defensive tackle Pat Williams the year before. Now, the defense grows even weaker in the middle with the release of Adams."
apuszczalowski Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 It might be a stab at the bills, but its true. Losing Sam is not going to make the bills stronger
Beerball Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 Wonder how long we have to wait to hear about Moulds. I would guess that one will become official fairly quickly.

Losing Sam is not going to make the bills stronger 615068 It was the right thing to do though, he was eating up (no pun intended) a lot of cap space for being on the downside of his career. Bills have to make a DT splash in free agency AS WELL as the Draft in the first two rounds.
Like A Mofo Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 Please forgive me if this makes no sense....could this move be a sign that the Bills are switching to a 3-4?
Thailog80 Posted March 1, 2006 Author Posted March 1, 2006 Please forgive me if this makes no sense....could this move be a sign that the Bills are switching to a 3-4? 615089 A big if considering that Ngata isn't a lock to be there at 8.
d_wag Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 Please forgive me if this makes no sense....could this move be a sign that the Bills are switching to a 3-4? 615089 forget the 3-4.........not going to happen, as jauron has said......

But obviously the position will be addressed in one or more ways over the next month or two. Clayton just took his usual opportunity to bash the move before the plan is completed.
MadBuffaloDisease Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 Clump's cap page says that the Bills would save just $2.1M with Adams' release. And Moulds' release is supposed to save $4.5M, but reports I've heard are $5.5M. And Williams was supposed to save $4.9M, but I read it only saved $3.5M.

The bills did address their D-line last year, but it was by bringing in Bennie Anderson.
Chilly Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 Wait, we were just 2 mill below the cap? I thought we had plenty of room?
Buftex Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 Could this be a move to free up more space, and keep Moulds?
