Dr. Fong
I think it's important, though, to distinguish between the only-the-lines people on this board and the anything-but-another-receiver people. 615126[/snapback] Yeah I suppose there is a distinction to be made, but if Moulds isn't here next year I think it makes even more sense to take a look at Davis. Losman will never develop as a QB if he doesn't have anyone to throw to......or block for him.
The Dean
For the record, VD's picture is on buffalobills.com
Fixxxer
Hopefully he goes before we pick so I don´t have to stomach the feeling of drafting a TE at #8. Maybe Mario Williams drops to us (praying)
Ozymandius
1. Mario 2. DaBrick 3. Davis 4. Trade down
Nick in RaChaCha
Thanks and great post. I would be happy if the Bills draft Vernon. And really happy if some team wants him so badly that they would give up a 2nd rounder to swap. (we have a lot of holes to fill)
eball
Drafting VD would soften the blow of losing EM. If the Bills can also sign a veteran wideout like Givens or Jurevicius, and address OL and DL issues via FA and the rest of the draft (yes, I know that's a lot of "ifs"), then I wouldn't have a problem taking VD in the 1st. I really don't like to fall in love with any particular player leading up the draft, though...too many things can happen before and on draft day.
