HopsGuy
... There was never any guarantee that an owner would be able to own a team AND his stadium, thus there shouldn't necessarily be a provision for stadium debt. 614476[/snapback] Wayne Huizinga owns Dolphins Stadium. In keeping with the "Clerks" theme, he recently told the Marlins "You're not allowed to rent here anymore!!!"

Or did he just buy the old one?
JCBoston
Great column, despite the source: Boston Globe: Greed isn't good, at least in this case Such posturing by all sides does not mean that no extension will be reached by Friday, because all sides understand one thing above all else: If there's no extension, there will be chaos, at least in the short term. MadBuffaloDisease
He bought the old one when he bought the Dolphins. It was a package deal from the Robbie estate. That's what I thought, and that's a little different. It's much cheaper buying an old stadium than paying for your own state-of-the-art stadium.
