Tolstoy Posted February 28, 2006 Posted February 28, 2006 Just speculation: Assuming that Marv has some effect on Jauron, I think things look good for JP Losman if he can win the starting job. Why? Marv is not the kind of guy to switch QB's week to week. I recall in the Kelly years, even when Jimbo was declining, Marv would say "Jim Kelly is our starting QB, end of discussion." Moreover, if memory serves, he also followed the same policy with Todd Collins. In other words, he gives his QB's his vote of confidence, and allows them to have bad weeks. For Losman (if he has the right stuff) faith from his coaching staff and regular playing time is all he needs.
PromoTheRobot Posted February 28, 2006 Posted February 28, 2006 I think having an improved line, a running game, and a gameplan that actually makes some sense, will do wonders for JP Losman. PTR
