How about we play the film of you in the Miami game? PTR

How about we play the tape of you in the Miami game? PTR 611922[/snapback] Nope he is just negotiating. Its unfortunate that players have been reduced to selling themselves like new and improved Tide or the Triple Trac Razor, but this is simply the reality of an NFL that used to be a sport that also happened to be a business and now (just like the Olympics) is a business that happens to be a sport.
TC in St. Louis Posted February 26, 2006 Posted February 26, 2006 Nate had an awful year. I thought that the Miami game cost him at least 5 million dollars. He is worth maybe 5 year/18 million. I'd give him 6 million s.b.
Mantis Toboggan M.D Posted February 26, 2006 Posted February 26, 2006 Miami game. How about the Chargers game.

MDH Posted February 27, 2006 Posted February 27, 2006 Perhaps this isn't a fair statement but I also get the feeling that Nate will be one of the players that simply mails it in once he hits his payday.
ofiba Posted February 27, 2006 Posted February 27, 2006 Yeah what a dope. He should be saying "I had a bad year and don't deserve a high contract." I'm sure when negotiating your new contracts, everyone of you picks out negative aspects of yourselves in order to make sure that you don't get overpaid.
