scribo Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 I read today, on Yahoo! Sports, that Brickshaw gained 13 pounds and GREW 1/2 inch in the past month -- since scouts measured him at the Senior Bowl. Damn, he may be the #2 or #3 overall pick.
bills_fan Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 If I was Houston, I'd think long and hard about this.

PIZ Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 Marv needs to think about moving up to get him.
scribo Posted February 24, 2006 Author Posted February 24, 2006 Marv needs to think about moving up to get him. 610831 I don't think so. In a draft this deep at the positions the Bills need to fill, there is no one player good enough to trade up for for the Bills. Stay at #8, see who falls -- because someone very good will fall -- and then decide if they should pick or trade down. It has been written here many times: the Bills are far from being one player away from the playoffs.

Dan Gross Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 I don't think so. tennesseeboy Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 I would be reluctant to trade up. I think we will get a good solid player at 8 or maybe even trade down. This draft has a whole bunch of exceptional players and I can see us addressing a number of needs in rounds two and three. The Brick is a top five pick...but we ain't in the top five.. Ngata is still looking good to me at 8.
BrixtonBill Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 If I was Houston, I'd think long and hard about this. 610828 Why would the Texans draft an offensive linemen? Such a move would hurt David Carr's rating as the best tackling dummy in the NFL.
