30dive Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 So mommy or daddy (were not sure) bring little Johnny to Richmond's (VA) Maymont Park, to look at the animals and the flower gardens. Mommy or daddy let little Johnny, who is 4 years old climb a four foot wood fence, go around another fence so he could pet the nice bear through a chainlink fence. The bear then does what bears are known to do, it bites little Johnny. So mommy or daddy bring littel Johnny to the family doctor (evidently the bite was not to severe, but it was still a bear bite). After little Johnny has been treated the parents and/or the doctor call the park to report the bite. So now because we don't know which bear bite little Johnny the park puts down both bears. Evidently this is the only way an animal (including humans) can be tested for rabies, after it is dead. So today the tests came back neither bear had rabbies...pheww, liitle Johnny is going to be OK and the Richmond area has lost two of its best attractions at Maymont Park.
BB27 Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 Isn't it depressing when you have to fill out more paperwork to adopt a dog than to have a child.
30dive Posted February 24, 2006 Author Posted February 24, 2006 That is pretty much the flavor around here.
