Here's Who They Took:

Houston Texans - Reggie Bush/HB/USC

New Orleans Saints - Matt Leinart/QB/USC

Tennessee Titans - Vince Young/QB/Texas

New York Jets - Jay Cutler/QB/Vanderbilt

Green Bay Packers - A.J. Hawk/OLB/Ohio St.

Oakland Raiders* - Mario Williams/DE/NC St.

San Francisco 49ers* - D’Brickashaw Ferguson/OT/Virginia

Bills, you're on the clock.

This assumes no big names were brought in at FA time.

Based on the scenarios I voted taking Huff.

Flipped a coin and went with Nagata over Huff if for only the reason of hopefully getting Smith from Syracuse to play safety later!

I'll still take Ngata. Just say no to Gabe Watson, he didn't even start every game at Mich. because of poor performance....BUST

The fact that you have Ferguson falling that low is hard to believe, but if he did fall that low, i'm not sure SF would take him for sure. Don't forget that they did just lure Jonas Jennings out there last season with the way $12 million in signing bonus smells.

Do you think that they are ready to toss in the towel on Jennings now, or do you think that SF thinks that they just got unlucky when he got hurt?

Huff and Ngata would be great enhancements to the Bills' D; lots will depend on FA and combine results--not only these players but other players (such as Jay Cutler's) who might change teams' first picks. This might mean Vince Young not benig picked, or DaBrick falling to us, etc. etc.

I can't see giving up on TE Everett before he plays at all in a regular season game, so I doubt Vernon Davis, as good as he is, will be our pick.

I like the scenario of us picking up local guy from Syracuse, but wouldn't complain if we took both Huff at this point and Smith later--recall from his book that Levy took 2 DB'ers in his first draft with the Chiefs.

If it works out like that, I wouldn't mind moving up one spot to get Ferguson even if we have to trade the extra 3rd rounder away to the 49ers.

It won't be the first time that Levy has screwed the 49'ers. Walsh wanted Bill Kenney as his quarterback. Levy traded up to snag him.

Walsh had to settle for a guy named Joe Montana in RD#3.

If Ngata is there, I think you have to take him in order to solve our D-Line problems. Not a flashy pick, but will stop the 5-6 yard bursts up the middle we saw last season.

However, say Ngata gets picked and our options are Huff or Winston Justice...I think you got to go with Huff, even though Safety technically isnt that big of a need compared to O-Line or D-Line. I'm a big fan of Huff and think he will truly excel at the NFL level...and I'm somewhat reserved on Justice considering he's only played RT in his career and if I remember correctly, got suspended for all of 2004. I'd take Huff and see what the ballhawk can do in our secondary.
