Like A Mofo Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 Even though Im not following the hockey... Canada losing is a beautiful thing!!!!!!!!
NYGPopgun10 Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 The Russians played so inspired in this game. Kozlov looked possessed setting up Ovechkin for the winner and Kovalev played like a leader. If not for Brodeur, this game would've been over sooner anyway. But also, Nabokov made some very good saves in the second as well. Russia just looked hungrier.

Buford T. Justice Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 A whole nation on suicide watch. I love it.

How does he not send Thornton out for the faceoff in that last minute? Nothing against Sakic but Thornton would've been a better option to take that draw. Sakic still could've been out there. Also, Doan deserved to be out there. He played his ass off. The sad aspect of Canada's early exit is Gretzky will get blamed.

stuckincincy Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 Nah, sad day for N. American hockey. 609012[/snapback] No surprise when, your entry is a team of dandies versus having to play some dandy teams...
