Like A Mofo Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 What position was he offered? And man he is young...taking a page out of the new Jets way?
ndirish1978 Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 Seto is pretty good. I hope tis doesn't mean we need him to groom young corners to replace the ones we have. Let's please re-sign Clements.
The Senator Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 What position was he offered? And man he is young...taking a page out of the new Jets way? 601813 I would guess linebackers coach, since that's what he did at USC and since we don't have one (John Holland left a week after being hired to go to Houston). This article is posted on the TBD home page... Rocky Seto
Marv's Neighbor Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 I don't know! USC is not an Ivy League School. Could be some communication issues!
MadBuffaloDisease Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 I don't know! USC is not an Ivy League School. Could be some communication issues! And he's not a former Bears coach! What going on here? I'll take this guy over that Lee guy, who has NO experience whatsoever coaching LB'ers.
VABills Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 However he was replaced as the linebacker coach last year and moved to DB coach.
OnTheRocks Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 Pete Carroll's first NFL coaching job was with the Bills DB's....and he is pretty vocal about his not so pleasant experience. I hope he isn't a crappy coach that Carroll is trying to get rid of by pushing him on the Bills.
drhockey Posted February 14, 2006 Posted February 14, 2006 I'm not too disappointed with this, even though I know zilch about this guy. He may be a great coach, teacher, etc. But, I would think it would seem odd for a 29 year old to be coaching TKO and Fletch. It would seem to me that a 29 year old coach belongs in a college atmosphere. Again, he may be a good one, but it just seemed like an odd fit here.
Rayzer32 Posted February 14, 2006 Posted February 14, 2006 There is some reason candidates are turning down the Bills offers and even one they hired left after being here a few days. This doesn't bode well for our future.
OnTheRocks Posted February 14, 2006 Posted February 14, 2006 Seto declined the offer: Seto declines 602877 as mentioned....i wouldn't be suprised if Pete Carroll the loser, talked him out of it. who cares. i would love to see the Bills bring in Ted Cotrell for the position if he is willing to take it.
mjjk73 Posted February 14, 2006 Posted February 14, 2006 im not surprised he declined i dont think guys have a problem with buffalo the coach that left had family problem with his mom being sick and needed surgery so he left to be closer to her and at 29 and coaching for USC he may not have been the best avaliable coach for the bills anyways
