\GoBillsInDallas/ Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 ...or anyone. Go to: http://www.zillow.com You can enter any address, including your own. It will give you detailed information about the property, as well as links to adjacent properties on a map. There still are some bugs (it doesn't read certain street names accurately) but it seems to work most of the time.
Guffalo Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 Not really updated, either that or Im in serious trouble, according to that site, my house is worth 2,300 dollars, I'm using this as a resource when I go for a tax reassesment, how dare they tax me 12K a year on a 2K dollar house!

I tried the link and it says "Zillow at rest, we'll be back online as soon as we're ready."
Just Jack Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 Interesting. My house is the highest on my street. It is the 2nd largest though. The only one bigger has a bigger yard, 100 more sq feet, and one more bedroom. But for some reason mine is listed as a 1 story.
Movinon Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 Mine is listed as a 2 bedroom, 1 bath -- It's actually a 4 bedroom, 2 bath.
Fezmid Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 Old data. My neighborhood isn't listed at all (the first house was built in '02).

Holy schmoley, thats a lot, you live in the Taj Mahal or something!!!!!

Buford T. Justice Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 Cool concept, but I don't think it is feasible to keep that much info up to date and accurate. More of a fun waste of time then an actual tool for real estate.
Puhonix Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 Old data. My neighborhood isn't listed at all (the first house was built in '02). 599238[/snapback] same for me. None of my subdivision is in there, although you can see houses in the satellite picture.
Spun Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 What's really flawed is Buffalo's property taxes being assessed on current value as opposed to purchase price as other cities do. Certainly not good for real estate sales. But par for the course for overtaxed New York State. Bamboozled. Hoodwinked.

MadBuffaloDisease Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 Damn! That site said my house is worth almost $90K more than the appraisal that was done at the time of my refi just a few months ago.
RkFast Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 Guff's FOS. The man craps on toilets made of gold.
