Astrobot Posted February 7, 2006 Posted February 7, 2006 I took Draft Daddy Top 100 and have these picks at those spots, plus the next 2: 8) OT Eric Winston ~ Miami ***** My Choice 9) RB Deangelo Williams ~ Memphis 10) CB Tye Hill ~ Clemson 40) OC Greg Eslinger ~ Minnesota 41) DT Kyle Williams ~ LSU ***** My Choice 42) DE Manny Lawson ~ NC State 72) CB Justin Wyatt ~ USC 73) OC Ryan Cook ~ New Mexico 74) S/LB Greg Blue ~ Georgia ***** My Choice 75) DE James Wyche ~ Syracuse
Nick in RaChaCha Posted February 7, 2006 Posted February 7, 2006 Eric Winston at #8 is to high. We could trade down 6 positions get another 2nd or 3rd and grab him them. Otherwise I like it.
Lofton80 Posted February 7, 2006 Posted February 7, 2006 No underclassman on that list. No Way Kiwi goes top 10 at this point. And no thank you to James Wyche. I take Ngota in Round 1 and Chas Spencer in round 2. 2 Big strong guys to get us turned in the right direction. Puts Ronnie Edwards back in the rotation and gets Fat Bennie off the field. Thereafter, we go safety or LB.

Otherwise I like it. 597258 He got blowed up in the Sr. Bowl practices. I'm not sure there is an O-lineman worth even a mid 1st pick. D'Brick will go early, then the pickens is slim.
BillsFanForever19 Posted February 7, 2006 Posted February 7, 2006 Wow! Eric Winston at 8?! Maybe 8th pick in the 2nd round.
BillsFan Trapped in Pats Land Posted February 7, 2006 Posted February 7, 2006 Wow! Eric Winston at 8?! Maybe 8th pick in the 2nd round. 597322 Might still be there with the Titans 3rd round pick.
BillsFanInTexas Posted February 7, 2006 Posted February 7, 2006 That list looks like the top 100 SENIORS only. No Jrs on the list. Outdated list. Nothing to see here.
tennesseeboy Posted February 7, 2006 Posted February 7, 2006 Ngata at 8 Mahalona in the second OT Levi from South Carolina in the third Jason Allen Safety from Tennessee in the fourth. Heavy duty free agent signing for the offensive line in this scenario
Rico Posted February 7, 2006 Posted February 7, 2006 Kiper says Winston is an early day 2 pick, that's still too soon to take him, JUST SAY NO.

Astrobot Posted February 7, 2006 Author Posted February 7, 2006 That was fun. Now, here's NFL Draft Countdown: #8. HALOTI NGATA DT *** My Choice #9. WINSTON JUSTICE OT #10.LENDALE WHITE RB #11. VERNON DAVIS TE #42 Nick Mangold C #43 Eric Winston OT #44 Ryan O'Callaghan OT *** My Choice I pick O'Callaghan because I've taken LeCharles Bentley as my big-time FA pickup, and I like Duke Preston backing him up or playing OG.

But going back to the earlier post, Eric Winston's stock has really fallen lately...he MIGHT not even be drafted by the 2nd round if he performs badly at the Combine.
