Fezmid
Fez the ball is carried on your forearm....his elbow and forarm lined up with the plane....cmon now... 596659 All I know is that even my wife (who watches very little football) saw the game (in HD, on the 100" screen in the basement) and said that he didn't get in. As to your point, the ball is usually tucked in the arm - unless your arm is under or over the ball when lunging at the goalline (which is rarely is because that's an awkward way of carrying the ball), your arm crossing the goalline means that the ball is a few inches behind it. Beerball
1 elbow = 2 knees. 596533 Speaking of which...Michaels totally missed the call on the fumble replay. Seattle challenged the call, and it was overturned. Michaels draws a circle on the screen for us to see that Hasslebecks elbow touched down just before the ball comes out. Only thing Al missed was that his knee was down much before the elbow or ball. The elbow didn't mean a darn thing because 1 knee = 2 elbows.
