He was a great all purpose back, but this is way over the top. 597318[/snapback] We'll have to agree to disagree. I think Thurman Thomas was every bit as great a player as Barry and Emmitt. The NFL was blessed to have 3 great backs at the same time. Barry may get charity votes; Emmitt may have records and rings; but, Thurman was every bit as good. Just my opinion.

Just my opinion. 597407[/snapback] I absolutely agree that he was 'every bit as good' as Smith, and as far as his value to an offense, I'd rather have him than Sanders. I was referring to the 'one of the most dominant players in the history of the NFL' statement. That's a helluva endorsement.
