CoachChuckDickerson Posted September 23, 2004 Posted September 23, 2004 The NFL is admitting to 3 blown calls in the Bills game. 1. Nate Clements punt return. No foul took place. 2. A safety should have been called. 3. Travis Henry did score a TD.
justnzane Posted September 23, 2004 Posted September 23, 2004 HAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA!!!!! Holy crap meaning the Bills actually won the game. Damn We got screwed over.
USMCBillsFan Posted September 23, 2004 Posted September 23, 2004 Maybe we can get the Korean Olympic delegation to lobby to the NFL for us to get the W taken away from the Raiders and awarded to us.
Paco Posted September 23, 2004 Posted September 23, 2004 Did they apologize yet because we didn't bench Bledsoe and put in Matthews?
Guest Guest_eyedog_* Posted September 23, 2004 Posted September 23, 2004 What else is new. F*** them today and apologise tomorrow. This bs has been happening to the Bills forever.
Tom Posted September 23, 2004 Posted September 23, 2004 Link???? As per the Simoncast, BILLS NEWS..., The NFL admitting to blown calls Can't read?????
34-78-83 Posted September 23, 2004 Posted September 23, 2004 It happens so often that it almost makes you paranoid, and too embarrassed to talk about it with anybody out of fear that they might call you crazy :-) Last time I can recall was the Philly game last year with 5 or 6 admitted phantom penalties. Like 4 of them ended drives.
USMCBillsFan Posted September 23, 2004 Posted September 23, 2004 Can't read????? 43456 A little testy today Tom??
Fan in San Diego Posted September 23, 2004 Posted September 23, 2004 This reeks of conspiracy. Three blown calls of which anyone would have changed the outcome of the game. MM should have challenged that TD by Henry. This really sucks.
Paco Posted September 23, 2004 Posted September 23, 2004 I've always suspected a lot of this goes back to Ralph's position during the referee strike a handful of years ago. If memory serves me, he took a not-so-favorable position with the refs and we've been getting slammed with stupid penalties ever since.
Tom Posted September 23, 2004 Posted September 23, 2004 A little testy today Tom?? No more than usual!

Don SHula was on the NFL's Competition Committee, and it seemed like every time we came close to beating them, a mystery call would come along and doom us. It goes farther back than the strike...
Fezmid Posted September 23, 2004 Posted September 23, 2004 Maybe we can get the Korean Olympic delegation to lobby to the NFL for us to get the W taken away from the Raiders and awarded to us. 43442 Or just award 2 wins! CW

MF'ing refs :I starred in Brokeback Mountain:
nick in* england Posted September 23, 2004 Posted September 23, 2004 Or just award 2 wins! CW 43497 Nahh - award us the Super Bowl now.... B) I am drunk
justnzane Posted September 23, 2004 Posted September 23, 2004 Man, I knew that Mularkey should have challenged that Henry touchdown. I had the game on the projector for my residents and they were pissed about it too.
MadBuffaloDisease Posted September 23, 2004 Posted September 23, 2004 (edited) Holy stevestojan! That was 9 fuggin' (extra) points right there at least, assuming the Bills only scored a FG instead of a TD on Clements' return to the 11-yard line (and didn't turn the ball over). Unbelievable! BTW like I said in my review of the highlights on NFL network on-demand, Henry scored, and that flag on Clements' return was thrown 30 yards away from where the alleged foul happened.
