dave mcbride Posted February 6, 2006 Posted February 6, 2006 just jumping into this, but the officiating in this game is truly terrible. i really thought that the nfl -- unlike, say, the nba -- was beyond rank favoritism. clearly, they're not.

A joke. The mob's gotta be in on this.
Spiderweb Posted February 6, 2006 Posted February 6, 2006 Sure, compound a crappy call, with yet another !!!
ajflutie Posted February 6, 2006 Posted February 6, 2006 I swear to God I am not watching the rest of this game. The NFL and refs want Pitt and that is that. No TD on Ben, no push off on the Seatlle TD, no holding, no horsecollar. this is just f...ng stupid.
nodnarb Posted February 6, 2006 Posted February 6, 2006 EVERY SINGLE BAD CALL HAS FAVORED THE FUGGIN STEELERS and i can't stand it. there is such an obvious bias. if a steeler had been brought down by that horse collar tackle, you know they'd throw a flag. That bogus hold that brought back that first and goal CHANGED THE GAME; a judgment call changed the game. It's not supposed to happen like that.
GG Posted February 6, 2006 Posted February 6, 2006 Just when you thought the calls couldn't get more bizarre.
Kultarr Posted February 6, 2006 Posted February 6, 2006 WHAT?!? Since when can you not TACKLE below the waist?!?!?!?! Where was the holding?!?!?!
Crap Throwing Monkey Posted February 6, 2006 Posted February 6, 2006 Block below the waist? WTF is that? He tackled him. 595465 Apparently, being a ref in the Superbowl requires a three drink minimum.
Johnny Coli Posted February 6, 2006 Posted February 6, 2006 just jumping into this, but the officiating in this game is truly terrible. i really thought that the nfl -- unlike, say, the nba -- was beyond rank favoritism. clearly, they're not. 595466 It's to the point now where even Madden and Michaels are saying they're bad calls. This is a joke.
Corp000085 Posted February 6, 2006 Posted February 6, 2006 i hope the steelers feel good if they win this game... hey, at least the 1999 dallas stars will have company in the all asterisk team.
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted February 6, 2006 Posted February 6, 2006 What I !@#$ing tell you? What a joke.
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted February 6, 2006 Posted February 6, 2006 This is a travesty. This is worse than Tuck Rule.
Corp000085 Posted February 6, 2006 Posted February 6, 2006 TD on a gadget play that worked. i think the only true gadget play that worked was when rooney bought this super bowl.
Crap Throwing Monkey Posted February 6, 2006 Posted February 6, 2006 Oh, my favorite play. The end-around fake reverse flea-flicker. Of course, whereas Buffalo averages a 7-yard loss on it, the !@#$ing Steelers score.
stevestojan Posted February 6, 2006 Posted February 6, 2006 This is a travesty. This is worse than Tuck Rule. 595480 What are you so mad about?
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted February 6, 2006 Posted February 6, 2006 To quote Ray Finkle's mom: "I hope Bill Cowher dies of gonnhorrea and rots in hell." Hey chin, !@#$ you and your bought officials.
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted February 6, 2006 Posted February 6, 2006 What are you so mad about? 595484 I HATE the steelers. I'd rather see the Pats win than this. And to get it HANDED to them no less.
zow2 Posted February 6, 2006 Posted February 6, 2006 That was freaking beautiful. Pittsburgh is money with those gadget plays.
