Nanker Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 Thurman's not in. 594255 I've lost interest.
todd Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 How does Moon get in, but Thomas doesn't...? 594262 Because it's the Pro Football hall of fame, and Warren Moon played in the CFL and put up some amazing numbers. Looks to me like they couldn't choose, so decided not to.
Rico Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 How does Moon get in, but Thomas doesn't...? 594262 1st black QB in HOF, I do believe.
KRT88 Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 Aikman White Moon Carson Maiden and one other name I can't recall
BillsGuyInMalta Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 Because it's the Pro Football hall of fame, and Warren Moon played in the CFL and put up some amazing numbers. Looks to me like they couldn't choose, so decided not to. 594268 Its NOT the Pro Football Hall of Fame though, anyone who has been there can tell you that the CFL stats are not included. Putting Moon in, who won...what...2 NFL playoff games his entire career over Thurman really is insulting to me.
KRT88 Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 Can't argue with any of the members. Glad to see Warren Moon get the honor.
Corp000085 Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 rayfield white was the other guy i'm satisfied that michael irvin didn't even make the final cut, however, i think TT should have at least gotten in before moon and possibly before aikman.
Alaska Darin Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 There isn't one person chosen who didn't deserve to get in. I'm disappointed for Thurman but he'll get in - and hopefully in a year with no Dallas Cowboys or Miami Dolphins.
VABills Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 AikmanWhite Moon Carson Maiden and one other name I can't recall 594270 Who's Maiden? Also, I believe this info is in the pinned HOF thread above. I could be wrong.
SDS Posted February 4, 2006 Author Posted February 4, 2006 Because it's the Pro Football hall of fame, and Warren Moon played in the CFL and put up some amazing numbers. Looks to me like they couldn't choose, so decided not to. 594268 it is named that out of respect to the AFL/NFL, not because of the CFL.
brihs2005 Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 surprised moon got in this year over thurman.... but the class is still very deserving
Fezmid Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 Because it's the Pro Football hall of fame, and Warren Moon played in the CFL and put up some amazing numbers. Looks to me like they couldn't choose, so decided not to. 594268 From what I read though, the CFL isn't supposed to count -- USFL does/did, but not CFL because they have their own HOF. So when does Flutie and Pinball Clements go into the "Hall of Fame?" CW
Alaska Darin Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 Its NOT the Pro Football Hall of Fame though, anyone who has been there can tell you that the CFL stats are not included. Putting Moon in, who won...what...2 NFL playoff games his entire career over Thurman really is insulting to me. 594272 Teams win games, not individual players. Warren Moon was a great football player at THE marquee position in the sport. He deserves to be in, regardless.
buffalofan72 Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 Can't argue with any of the members. Glad to see Warren Moon get the honor. 594273 Are you kidding?! OverThurman?!
