The Tomcat Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 Wouldn't mind getting this kid but if he can't play LDE he doesn't fit. I would love to get a big time safety as well...not the romantic pick everyone wants but could be a good choice with our high 2nd.

Mikie2times Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 I detect a hint of sarcasm 590782[/snapback] Haha, I was being honest. He's a massive DE, like 6-7 nearly 300LB's. I know all this because I asked myself the same thing awhile back.
The Tomcat Posted February 1, 2006 Author Posted February 1, 2006 I noticed my last smiley is for "flirt" and with your avatar I didn't want to send you the wrong message....I want to keep it strickly on football please!

Infact that was his position at NC State per Yahoo's depth chart.

Manny Lawson was the RDE for NC State opposite Williams. Lawson is underrated IMO, he reminds me of Julian Peterson when he came out of Michigan State. He'll probably end up being a value pick for one of the teams in the late first round and 5 years from now he'll be better than most drafted well before him.
TigerJ Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 Mario is a quintessential LDE. I should be equally comfortable in a 4-3 or a 3-4 allignment.

The boy's got skillz.
