meazza Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 I wish I did....I really want to play in a serious tourney, though. You can win seats at some of the bigger ones by playing online. Hopefully one day I'll be able to do that. I'm at the point where I can often get a read on someone just playing on the computer....so I feel pretty confident that reading people in person will be something I'll be good at. 590286 do you live in buffalo, if so why not go to the Niagara Falls Casino. They have texas hold em tourny's there. They don't have texas at the Montreal casino but they plan on adding it soon. If they do i will definately go. I suck at reading people, yet i always manage to get the cards to go my way. I have a friend who plays like sh-- and will always pop out with a straight or flush out of nowhere lol

There is talk of a casino opening up downtown, but I think it may only be slots. I just can't think of anything cooler than to be playing no limit at a casino.....that would rule

On the ESPN poker shows you see the 'young guns' all the time. There's like a whole group of them in their early 20s that are winning bracelets! Some of them will end up millionaires sooner rather than later. There is a LOT of money to be won.

Losing money makes me physically ill.....I can't stomach it. I guess I'm lucky in that way cause I'm just not the type to get into trouble, and I've been to the casino plenty of times. I'm pretty good about sticking to my budget. I've seen people just lose everything, though.....very sad.

Sooner or later the house edge will get ya.....that's why no limit hold'em is THE game, IMO.
Bill from NYC Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 I'd never heard of this chick before, but I happened to flip on the Bravo channel and they were playing celebrity poker. This girl has one of the most attractive personalities I've ever seen......she's definitely hot, but wow.....what a gal! http://www.lgraham.net/images/magazines/20...outtakes/05.jpg http://www.lgraham.net/images/magazines/20...outtakes/12.jpg 589735 Don't get me wrong, she does look good, but if I were you I would stick with Lana.
