Blue Chipper Posted January 31, 2006 Posted January 31, 2006 if Jerry Grey was such a great D coordinator and a candidate to be a head coach then why is he now the secondary coach for the Skins? That is step down or is that all that he is qualified for. I always felt he inherited the D and did little to improve it. His weak point was halftime adjustments imo.

I'm not a fan of Gray but I have no doubt he'll get offers come next offseason, be they HC jobs in college or DC jobs in the pros.

justnzane Posted January 31, 2006 Posted January 31, 2006 grey is where he should be Is he in the middle school ranks? or little league?

UConn James Posted January 31, 2006 Posted January 31, 2006 ...plating Sunday for the Bowl. 589175[/snapback] Which is it? Plates or bowls? But yes. JG is now back in a spot where he can be effective. He seemed to do better when he had someone really experienced with the D to offer him some... I don't want to say supervision...but, guidance might be the word. I wish him luck, except against us.
Alaska Darin Posted January 31, 2006 Posted January 31, 2006 It's sad when my fondest memory of someone who spent five years in the BILLS' organization is still of Don Beebe burning his ass for a touchdown. So long Jerry.
