stevestojan Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 I have googled this, and found very little info except for the form itself. I filed online today (through the same website members of my family use - TaxAct.com) I don't itemize, have had two jobs (W2) and one 1099 to file. Everyone I know who has filed simply had their funds direct deposited into their checking accounts. TaxAct says the same will happen with mine, however, after I hear that the IRS has accepted my return (within 3 days), I need to SEND in a completed 8453-OL form. No one else has had to do this that I've spoken to. I have the form, and have no problem filling it out, but I'm wondering why they need this information from me? Anyone
