Kelly the Dog Posted January 28, 2006 Posted January 28, 2006 Early on D'Brick looks pretty decent. Deangelo Williams looks damn good to me. Moss's speed is obvious. Cutler looks pretty nervous, but it's early.
BillsGuyInMalta Posted January 28, 2006 Posted January 28, 2006 Very impressed with D'Brick so far (its only the end of the 1st though).

Cutler looks pretty nervous, but it's early. 586857 Personally, I really like Dominique Byrd, the tight end from USC. I always liked his game and felt he was under used at USC because they had so many weapons. But I just saw him blocking well and he might be available in the 2nd or 3rd. The only thing is that I don't know how much our new o coordinator uses tes because they never throw to them on the Rams for the past few years.

Kelly the Dog Posted January 28, 2006 Author Posted January 28, 2006 Very impressed with D'Brick so far (its only the end of the 1st though). 586859 He looks pretty good to me, too, at least fundamentally, but i see him getting shoved around pretty easily. His man isn't making the play against him, which is always the goal, but my biggest fear if he draft him at #8, that he is not a real dominating tackle, looks very possible.
C.Biscuit97 Posted January 28, 2006 Posted January 28, 2006 where did this culter hype come from? I know his from Vandy but they were just an average team? I'm just amazed at how his stock has risen so fast.

Cutler looks pretty nervous, but it's early. 586857 That guard from UGA (the one with two names)...he's done a pretty good job and looked real good in practice.

As long as he keeps D-Lineman from getting past him, he's doing his job in my opinion. So far I havent seen anyone beat him, and he just absolutely demolished that poor Tennessee DE (Harlson?) trying to sweep to his left. I'd definitely take him at #8 if he's there. He looks very good so far.
Rico Posted January 28, 2006 Posted January 28, 2006 Winston looked bad on the South's 1st drive (3rd down before the punt) against Tapp... almost an OLE move. On the South's TD pass he got RB help against Hali.
Mile High Posted January 28, 2006 Posted January 28, 2006 Watson From Michigan Dt. I've been watching him in the practices this week. What round is he projected to go?
BillsGuyInMalta Posted January 28, 2006 Posted January 28, 2006 Watson From Michigan Dt. I've been watching him in the practices this week. What round is he projected to go? 586877 Most have him projected as a 2nd rounder.
Blue Chipper Posted January 28, 2006 Posted January 28, 2006 where did this culter hype come from? I know his from Vandy but they were just an average team? I'm just amazed at how his stock has risen so fast. 586865 It just goes to show you how few good qbs that are coming out and have a chance to suceed at the pro level. It makes you wonder what is going on at the college level that there are so few pure passers in the game. By the way I dont consider Young a pure passer- he will need to be groomed at the next level.

Mile High Posted January 28, 2006 Posted January 28, 2006 Singletary is impressing me with his coaching this week. Just watching him shows me how great of a teacher he is. It might not be his time yet but some day he is going to be a great dc or maybe even a head coach.
sfladave Posted January 28, 2006 Posted January 28, 2006 Dbrick just got toasted. The result was a big sack.
sfladave Posted January 28, 2006 Posted January 28, 2006 D'Brick just missed his block on that TD. edit: That is 2 BIG missed blocks in the last 2 drives. 1 in pass protection, 1 running. His stock is going down.
