Okey Dokey.

NFL sources have confirmed for WGR Sportsradio 550 Johnnie Lynn is in town interviewing for the Bills defensive coordinators spot. Lynn has been the Ravens secondary coach the past two seasons. Before that he spent seven years in New York with Jim Fassel. The last two as defensive coordinator after John Fox left to join the Panthers as head coach. Lynn played with the Jets from 1979 - 1986.

He doesn't look like a Johnnie. Phew.

Or a Lynn, for that matter.

Good bio.  Former DC of the Giants.  Remember he was the DB coach for the Bledsoe fiasco, where he was throwing INT's for TD's all day long.

The one where we got torched by the Burger King?

This looks like a really good hire to me.  Baltimore has had staunch d's for years, and he has experience as DC with the Giants.

Write it up, I say.  Let's get busy.

I agree, he has promise...

Though those of us with longer memories know that Johnnie Lynn was the rookie CB for the Jets whom Jerry Butler torched for 4 TDs in September 1979. Remember the Big Ben?

(Not a reason not to hire him, just a chance to flaunt some Bills history...)

Go Bills!
