BillsFanForever19 Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 I also have to leave in about 30 minutes to take my step-son to a doctors appointment. Thank God it's raining here. Otherwise the draft wouldn't start until tonight (9PM East Coast Time). 588649 It's started. You can pick now. Quote
Draconator Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 Is it New Orleans or San Diego? (The draft order on the first page has N.O. Listed). Quote

Reggie Bush 588658 Didn't see that one coming lol I know how amazing Bush looked, but I don't think i'd EVER trade a proven LT for Bush. Quote

So if the other GM's get on and draft up to 7, i'll be on at 8 to make my selection for San Fran. Or should I just PM a list of who i'd select to you 2003? Quote

BillsFanInTexas Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 I'll take Seattle too - that way you don't have to suffer waiting for the last GM... Quote
Ramius Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 That's what i'm saying! I put Jerry Porter as part of my deal to Houston simply because it makes sense. He's unhappy in Oakland, Houston could use some more firepower, and I made him worth very little (the trade was the #1 pick for Oakland's #6, Oakland's 3rd, and Jerry Porter). Not only would the LT to New Orleans for #1 NEVER happen because San Diego wouldn't be looking to deal him, but I don't think an RB (even of LT's calibur) is going to get you the #1 pick. 588599 This is the gayest trade ever. Why the hell would NO trade FOR LT and his 50 million contract, when they just signed mcallister to a 50+ million deal last offseason... this is fuggin "Dawgged"... Quote
slothrop Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 Please, answer one question: Why the F*&^ would S.D. trade up to take Bush? Quote
Draconator Posted January 31, 2006 Posted January 31, 2006 Please, answer one question: Why the F*&^ would S.D. trade up to take Bush? 588769 Because ultimately, it is very possible that Bush will be a better all-around RB than LT. Sometime ya just gotta roll the dice. Quote

L.T. is way more durable. And yes. McAllister is up for trade bait. (And remember, this is a mock draft. As if any of this is really going to happen. It's just part of the process of actually making this fun!!!) Quote
WVUFootball29 Posted January 31, 2006 Posted January 31, 2006 With the 4th pick in the 2006 draft, New York Jets will select, Running Back from Memphis DeAngelo Williams sorry was busy today... Quote
BillsGuyInMalta Posted January 31, 2006 Posted January 31, 2006 Looking for toughness and a player that can give their Defense an identity, with the 5th overall selection in the 2006 NFL Draft, the Green Bay Packers select A.J. Hawk, OLB from Ohio State. The Face Only Cheeseheads Could Love Hawk's Packers Jersey Quote
