Draconator Posted February 3, 2006 Posted February 3, 2006 Orien Harris at 19 gets a B?! I have yet to see a SINGLE mock that has Orien Harris in round 1. He's below Ngata, Bunkley, Watson, Wroten, and Wright on most boards i've seen. 592283 http://football.about.com/od/nfldraft/a/nfldrafttoppros.htm Harris is listed as #21 overall Quote

FutureBillsGM Posted February 3, 2006 Posted February 3, 2006 Indianapolis takes.... WR Chad Jackson- Florida Insurance in case we cannot resign Wayne And still dangling James for an early second rounder Quote
Webster Guy Posted February 3, 2006 Posted February 3, 2006 The Pittsburgh Steelers select: Laurence Maroney RB 5’11 205 Minnesota Jr. Laurence Maroney has been one of the biggest playmakers in the country at the running back position over the past two seasons. He paired with Marion Barber III to form one of the best rushing duos in the history of college football. They both ran for over 1,000 yards for two consecutive seasons, becoming the first duo to ever accomplish that feat. As a freshman in 2003, Maroney ran the ball 162 times for 1,121 yards and 10 touchdowns. He was voted to just about every freshman All-American team, and was named the Big 10 Freshman of the Year. He topped those numbers the following year as a sophomore, going for 1,348 yards on 217 carries, with 12 touchdowns on the ground. Maroney is a big play back out of the backfield. He possesses great speed, quickness and has the ability to break off a long run at any time. He runs with authority. He sees a hole and hits it; he doesn’t have very many missed steps. Because of the decisiveness in his style, he packs some punch at the end of runs. He keeps his legs moving and does not go down easily. He brings some return ability as well. As a freshman in 2003, he averaged over 25 yards per kickoff return, and returned one for a touchdown. Quote
FutureBillsGM Posted February 3, 2006 Posted February 3, 2006 The Pittsburgh Steelers select: Laurence Maroney RB 5’11 205 Minnesota Jr. Duce Staley and Willie Parker........ Quote
Webster Guy Posted February 3, 2006 Posted February 3, 2006 Yeah, I knew they had Staley and Parker. Staley is injured a lot, so I figured he's not part of their long range plan. Willie Parker has talent, but sometimes hurts the team more in dropped passes and fumbles. He needs competition and Maroney is a tough runningback. OLB Bobby Carpenter was the safe choice. Every site I see has Pitt taking him ("could be GREAT in a 3-4...!) No thanks.. Chad Jackson was picked before me, but I dont trust Florida receivers for some reason. Quote

Chilly Posted February 3, 2006 Posted February 3, 2006 Work has been crazy today, I'll make the pick when I get a free minute. Quote
Chilly Posted February 3, 2006 Posted February 3, 2006 The Houston Texans are proud to select Rodrique Wright, DT, Texas. Quote
The Hornell Kid Posted February 3, 2006 Posted February 3, 2006 Why does Philly have the 52nd Pick. I never traded that. Quote
YOOOOOO Posted February 3, 2006 Posted February 3, 2006 Why does Philly have the 52nd Pick. I never traded that. 593420 Although id love another pick i didnt acquire that pick in our trade.... Quote
BillsFanForever19 Posted February 3, 2006 Posted February 3, 2006 With the 2nd pick in the 2nd round, the Oakland Raiders select..... Manny Lawson, DE N.C. State Quote
Chilly Posted February 3, 2006 Posted February 3, 2006 With the 2nd pick in the 2nd round, the Oakland Raiders select..... Manny Lawson, DE N.C. State 593476 Good pick, he was the other player that Houston was considering. Quote
BillsFanForever19 Posted February 3, 2006 Posted February 3, 2006 Good pick, he was the other player that Houston was considering. 593480 Well most mocks have Oakland standing put at 6 and selecting Mario Williams. I had them move up and select Vince Young at QB. It only made sense to select Lawson if he's sitting there. Quote
BillsGuyInMalta Posted February 3, 2006 Posted February 3, 2006 The Tennessee Titans, after taking the #1 rated QB on the board, gleefully take the #1 rated ILB on the board to improve their interior Defense. The Titans select D'Qwell Jackson, ILB from Maryland Quote
stuckincincy Posted February 3, 2006 Posted February 3, 2006 Bengals select: LB DeMeco Ryans, Alabama 592731 That's what they need. Spending a 1st, a 2nd, a 3rd, a 3rd, and a 5th on LB's the past 3 years is not enough. j/k! Quote
BillsGuyInMalta Posted February 3, 2006 Posted February 3, 2006 First pick with the Packers was improving the Defense, now time to replace the holes on the O-Line. The Green Bay Packers select Max Jean-Gilles, OG from Georgia Quote
fishiewishie Posted February 3, 2006 Posted February 3, 2006 Anybody want OL looking for late 2nd or early 3rd Quote
